More On The Sandman, SD! The Only Show Rated PG?, RAW, GAB, More

The following is from TMZ.com: If The Sandman wanted a cage match, he's got one ... for at least another night. Former ECW champ Sandman -- who was popped Sunday for allegedly starting a bar brawl in Yonkers, NY on Sunday, has been tossed back into the clink until at least tomorrow. We're told a judge in Yonkers City Court will set bail for the rassler after reviewing a couple of felonies Sandman racked up in Pennsylvania years ago. Sandman -- real name Jim Fullington -- allegedly went nutzo during a fight that happened during a 75th b-day party for wrestling legend Capt. Lou Albano.

Variety are reporting that WWE are moving to become more family friendly as they plan to produce their three weekly TV shows in a way that lands WWE a PG rating. Monday Night Raw on USA Network and ECW on Sci Fi are currently rated TV-14, while CW’s Friday Night SmackDown, who are preparing for the move to MyNetworkTV this fall is already a TV-PG. Varierty reports, “WWE stressed that its shows wouldn't become tamer, as a result of the change. They'd just focus more on its over-the-top characters and storylines, rather than attention-grabbing stunts that may have been considered too outrageous in the past.” A WWE representative said, "It's the continuing evolution of the company to create content for our growing audience of younger viewers." WWE recently released a kids magazine and website to help target the same demo with original content. Their film division WWE Studios will also help steer away from Rated R content.

DaytonKain sent this in: Just something I noticed while going through my digital cable. Before Raw I looked at what the preview for it was and it read, "Great American Bash fallout plus the McMahon's plan to reel in Raw". I just thought it was interesting since the McMahon's never even made an appearance on Raw.

Callum sent this in: In response to the ordering issues of the G.A.B., in New Zealand we had problems when the replay was on.

More on the 7/21 Monday Night Raw rating, which was up to a 3.3 cable rating. The first hour drew a 3.19 rating, while the second hour drew a 3.48 rating.
