A shot of the WWE Heavyweight Championship was shown in the ring and the red carpet was rolled out and Vince McMahon's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring with Sable on his arm.

Vince said that last week here on Smackdown!, history was made as we witnessed two world class athletes compete in a one hour Ironman match. After the 60 grueling minutes, there was one man who stood tall and one man who was superior and that's why all of you were here in this arena tonight. It's why Vince and Sable are here because tonight, they will indeed honor that superior athlete; that one man who can rightfully call himself the WWE Champion. So without further adieu...

Kurt Angle's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring to interrupt Vince McMahon. Vince told the fans to give it up for Kurt Angle and then he told Kurt not to get too close because he doesn't want this Championship belt to fall over. Vince then said that he knows why Kurt is out here and that's because he wants to set for the record, Brock Lesnar cheated, hit him with a chair, gave him a low blow and hit him with the very Championship belt that they're about to give to Brock. In other words, he wants to bitch and whine. Ok, maybe that's not why he's here but Vince thinks he knows why Kurt is here. He's here tonight because he wants to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Championship here in Philadelphia. The fans cheered and Vince said that's not going to happen, folks. It's not going to happen tonight and he doesn't know when it's going to happen. As far as Vince is concerned, for him to get a title shot, he's going to start from the bottom and work his way up.

Kurt Angle being the first Olympic Gold Medalist in the history of the WWE, Vince is proud of that. Kurt's a sportsman and he's got a heart. Vince thinks he's here because Kurt wants to honor the superior athlete and wish well and make a presentation of the title to Brock Lesnar himself, is that right? Kurt Angle finally took the microphone out of Vince's hands and he said that he didn't come out here to congratulate Brock. He came out here to kick his ass! You see, Kurt realized that Vince isn't going to give him a title shot anytime soon so tonight, one of two things is going to happen. One, Brock Lesnar comes down here and Kurt beats the hell out of him. Or two, Kurt goes back there, finds Brock and beats the hell out of him. The choice is up to Brock Lesnar. Kurt then said "Let's go" to Brock and to get it on.

John Cena's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring. John Cena took the mic and he told Kurt Angle to quit his bitching because he's turned into a whiner. Last week, he lost the title and now he's got a vagina. Kurt took exception to that and nailed John Cena with some hard right hands and then he tossed him over the top rope to the outside of the ring. Kurt Angle then said that Brock Lesnar is obviously not coming out, so Kurt Angle is going back there for him. Angle then got out of the ring and walked towards the backstage area and cameras took us to the backstage area where Kurt Angle went through the rooms looking for Brock Lesnar. Kurt went up to Brock Lesnar's locker room door and charged right in and started to say that Brock's ass is his but Brock was nowhere to be found. Kurt tossed Lesnar's bag across the room and then Cena came out of nowhere and attacked Kurt Angle in the backstage area.

    During the Break:

John Cena fled the scene, quickly running out of the arena, getting in a car and leaving. But behind him was Kurt Angle and he ran into the parking lot and asked a guy if he saw Cena and the guy told him that he peeled off and Kurt told the guy to follow him and the guy started to tell Kurt that this is Mr. McMahon's limo but Kurt Angle didn't seem to care as he grabbed the guy, told him to get in the car and go.

Matt Hardy and Shannon Moore vs. Los Guerreros (c)

Eddie and Chavo Guerrero rolled up in their low rider, new with www.LowRiders.com across the top of the windshield and this is a tag team match with Los Guerreros defending the Tag Team Titles against Matt Hardy and Shannon Moore!

    The start:

Matt Hardy started it off in the ring against Eddie Guerrero and the two locked it up and Matt shoved Eddie back and then posed to taunt Guerrero. Guerrero locked it up with Matt once again and this time, Eddie put Matt in a side headlock and Matt whipped Eddie off the ropes but as he went off the ropes, Chavo tagged himself into the ring and caught Matt off guard.

    Mid-match notes:

Eddie whipped Shannon Moore into Chavo, who came off the top rope with a cross body on Shannon. Eddie then immediately hopped onto Shannon and pinned him for a two count.

Matt Hardy went for the Twist of Fate on Eddie Guerrero but Eddie shoved Matt into the ropes to avoid it.

    The finish:

Shannon went for a hopping neck breaker from the second rope but he missed. Chavo then hooked Shannon Moore in a back suplex and then Eddie came off the top rope with the frog splash to pick up the win and retain the titles!

Winners and still Tag Team Champions, Los Guerreros

    The Aftermath:

As Los Guerreros were celebrating in the ring, Matt Hardy got in the ring and attacked Eddie Guerrero and then he gave him the side effect onto the tag team title.

    During the Break:

As Chavo Guerrero attended to Eddie, Charlie Haas came out and disposed of Chavo Guerrero and then he put Eddie Guerrero in the Haas of Pain in an attempt to get an advantage over Eddie for his match later tonight! Haas then left Eddie Guerrero laying in the ring.

    In ring promo:

A-Train's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring and he tossed the steel steps and then some chairs. A-Train grabbed the mic and got in the ring and said for weeks, all he's been hearing is about how A-Train can't beat Chris Benoit. A-Train said that he can beat Chris Benoit, anyone in the back and anyone in this arena! A-Train then asked for someone to fight him. A-Train then called Philadelphia a joke and said that they're all a bunch of cowards. A-Train went over to Michael Cole and Tazz and talked trash on them and then grabbed the timekeeper and rolled him into the ring and attacked him. A-Train put the timekeeper in the Crippler Crossface and then Chris Benoit's music hit in the arena and he stormed to the ring and went at it with A-Train. A-Train lifted Benoit up and shoved him into the corner and then Chris Benoit put A-Train in the Crossface but A-Train powered out of it and launched Chris Benoit over the top rope to the outside of the ring. A-Train then nailed Chris Benoit in the head with the steel chair and then told Benoit that he couldn't beat A-Train.

    Backstage:

The trainer was shown attending to Eddie Guerrero and Chavo told the trainer to watch his ribs. The trainer said that if he's in this much pain, he shouldn't wrestle. Eddie then said that he knows what he can and can't do and he told him to back off.

    Backstage:

Vince and Sable were shown and Vince was telling her what he thinks of her and he decided that he wanted a taste so they started kissing. A production guy entered the room because Vince wanted to see him, but that was 20 minutes ago. Vince asked the guy what's the matter with him? He's got bad timing. Vince wanted to see him because he wanted to let him and everyone else know that the red carpet will be rolled back out and the Championship belt will be back in the case because one way or another, he will present the WWE Title to Brock Lesnar. Vince then sent the guy on his way and he and Sable went back to what they were doing. Sable told him that before this night is over, she will personally present him with her.

    Backstage:

Josh Matthews caught up with Charlie Haas, saying that the odds are in his favor later tonight after what he did. Charlie said that the odds are always in his favor. He's the All American and as far as Eddie Guerrero goes, he got just what he deserved. Charlie took Eddie out just like he and Chavo took out Shelton last week. If Los Guerreros want to take the tag team titles from him, then tonight, he's going to take the United States Title from Eddie Guerrero!

    Backstage:

Tajiri was shown preparing for his match against Rey Mysterio with the Cruiserweight Title on the line!

    Cruiserweight Championship Match

    Tajiri vs. Rey Mysterio (c)

Rey Mysterio's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring for his Cruiserweight Title defense against Tajiri!

    The start:

Rey Mysterio and Tajiri locked it up in the center of the ring and Tajiri shoved Rey back and kicked him in the arm.

    Mid-match notes:

Tajiri put Rey Mysterio in the tarantula and he held onto it as long as he could and then the referee forced him to break it.

Tajiri then started playing with the turnbuckle and as the referee went to make sure the turnbuckle was on, Tajiri went for the green mist but Rey Mysterio fought it off and the green mist started leaking out of Tajiri's mouth.

Rey Mysterio knocked Tajiri to the outside of the ring and then he jumped on Tajiri on the outside of the ring with a springboard plancha to the very outside of the ring.

Tajiri perched Rey Mysterio on the ropes in a reverse tree of woe and then he went to the other side of the ring and then ran at Tajiri with a kick to the back of the head. Tajiri then gave Mysterio a Michinoku Driver into a pin for a two count.

Tajiri went to kick Rey in the head but Rey ducked it and the referee got knocked down from a kick to the head. Tajiri then went for the springboard elbow but Rey drop kicked him to the back of the head to send him into the ropes and then Mysterio nailed Tajiri with the 619. Mysterio then went for the West Coast Pop but Tajiri moved out of the way and then kicked Mysterio in the head. Referee Mike Sparks stormed to the ring to check on referee Brian Hebner and then Tajiri pinned Mysterio but only got a two count.

    The finish:

Rey Mysterio gave Tajiri a hurricanrana into a pin and as Mike Sparks was checking on Brian Hebner, Tajiri sprayed red mist into the face of Mysterio. Tajiri then hit Rey Mysterio with the kick of death and then he pinned him for the three count to get the win to walk away as the new Cruiserweight Champion!

Winner and new Cruiserweight Champion, Tajiri

    Next week:

There will be an update on Zach Gowen as they will have a special interview with him next week!

    Referee: Mike Sparks
The Basham Brothers vs. Jamie Noble and Bradshaw

The Basham Brothers and Shaniqua made their way out to the ring and this is a tag team match with the Basham Brothers against Jamie Noble and his partner. Jamie Noble came out with a microphone and he said that his partner Billy Gunn got hurt but Jamie Noble and the Basham Boys have some unfinished business. He doesn't like to brag, but he's not only a smart man but he's a very rich man. His girl out here is wearing nice stuff and what he's done tonight is took his money and bought one half of the world's toughest tag team, Bradshaw of the APA!

    The start:

Noble and Bradshaw immediately got in the ring and went at it with the Basham Brothers with Bradshaw using his brawling and Noble using high flying.

    Mid-match notes:

Danny Basham knocked Jamie Noble through the ropes to the outside of the ring and Shaniqua kicked Noble in the head to knock him down to the ground.

Nidia hit Shaniqua on the outside of the ring and Shaniqua laid her out with a vicious clothesline.

    The finish:

Bradshaw hit Danny Basham with the clothesline from hell and then he pinned him for a two count as Shaniqua got in the ring and attacked Bradshaw, ending the match in a disqualification.

Winners as a result of a disqualification, Jamie Noble and Bradshaw

    The Aftermath:

Shaniqua continued to stomp away on Bradshaw and then she and the Basham Brothers left the ring together as Jamie Noble attended to Nidia on the outside of the ring.

    In ring promo:

The Big Show's music hit in the arena and as he made his way to the ring, the announcers questioned why he was there because he wasn't scheduled.

    United States Championship Match
    Referee: Mike Chioda
Charlie Haas vs. Eddie Guerrero (c)

Charlie Haas' music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring as it seems that The Big Show has disappeared into thin air. Or not... As Haas got in the ring, Tazz pointed out that The Big Show was sitting at ringside on commentary. The Big Show got out of his seat and started to walk to the backstage area but then he came back and picked Eddie Guerrero up and launched him into the steel ring post.

    The start:

Charlie Haas then got out of the ring and stomped away on Eddie Guerrero and then he rolled Eddie into the ring and gave him a back suplex.

    Mid-match notes:

Chavo Guerrero came out to the ringside area to check on Eddie Guerrero as he looked in bad shape and Charlie laid him out and then rolled him back into the ring. Referees Mike Sparks and Michael Chioda restrained Chavo and sent him to the back as Charlie Haas pinned Eddie Guerrero in the ring for a two count as he grabbed the ropes.

Charlie Haas put Eddie Guerrero in the Haas of Pain and Eddie was somehow able to pop out of the hold.

Charlie Haas grabbed the United States Title and brought it into the ring but the referee grabbed it from him and tossed it down. Charlie then argued with the referee and then Eddie grabbed the Championship belt. As the referee yelled at Charlie, Eddie put the US Title up on the top turnbuckle. Charlie then charged at Eddie but Eddie moved and Charlie knocked himself out with the Championship belt.

    The finish:

Eddie Guerrero then went to the top rope for the frog splash and came off with it and then pinned Charlie for the three count to get the win!

Winner and still United States Champion, Eddie Guerrero

    In ring promo:

Vince McMahon and Sable went out to the ring for the presentation for the WWE Championship. Vince demanded that everyone stand on their feet, put their hands together and pay the proper respect for the new WWE Champion, ladies and gentlemen, Brock Lesnar!

Brock Lesnar then made his way out to the ring and he stood on the ropes, expecting praise from the fans in the arena. The fans booed Brock Lesnar at the mention of his name and Vince said that he's the new face of the WWE, the face of Smackdown!. This face, this champion is unrelenting, unforgiving and damn sure unstoppable. So therefore, Vince knows that he speaks for the fans here in this arena, he knows that he speaks for Smackdown! fans all over the world when he says to Brock; congratulations Champ. Vince asked for a speech from Brock Lesnar and the fans reminded Brock that he tapped out as they chanted "You tapped out!"

Brock said say what you will because he is the new WWE Champion. First and foremost, from the bottom of his heart, he wants to thank Vince because it was him that helped remind him of exactly who he is. He's the real Brock Lesnar, so deal with it! Secondly, he has a few words for that parasite Kurt Angle. Last week in the Ironman match, Brock had Kurt in the palm of his hand. Yes, he did. He had him exactly where he wanted him the entire match. You see, it didn't matter to him if he got disqualified from using that chair because he knew what the end result was going to be. And that was Brock Lesnar regaining his WWE Championship. And Vince McMahon is oh so right when he says that Brock is unforgiving, unrelenting and most importantly, he's going to say this very slowly so that everybody in the back can understand that the Real Brock Lesnar is unstoppable.

The Undertaker's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring on the motorcycle. The Undertaker got in the ring and he said that he told Brock last week that he told him he wasn't going to interfere in the title match. Why? Because he has too much respect for the title. Taker dared Brock Lesnar to step to him. Taker respects the title but he doesn't respect Brock Lesnar. A couple weeks ago when he wrestled Kurt Angle for the title, he came out and wanted to hit him with a chair. Brock must have thought he was going to let that slide but the Undertaker doesn't let anything slide. Just like he told Brock's boss; he doesn't forget and he doesn't forgive. Taker has some advice for Brock; take the belt, enjoy it, hang onto it real tight and sleep with it because his first title defense is against the Undertaker!

He's going to say this real slow so Brock can understand; he's got a date with the Deadman. Vince interjected, saying he doesn't know when he comes out here and starts making his own matches. On who's authority is he going to come out here and make a match with Brock Lesnar? Stephanie McMahon's music hit and she made her way out to the ring as the General Manager of Smackdown!. Stephanie got in the ring and said "On my authority, dad." She is the General Manager of Smackdown! and at No Mercy, Brock Lesnar will defend his WWE Championship against the Undertaker! Vince said that's not going to happen because she's going to have her own authority ascended. He's going to give her an opportunity to change her mind because if she doesn't change her mind then she too will be in a match at No Mercy. If she doesn't change her mind, she'll be in the first ever father/daughter match in history! Vince told Stephanie to go change her mind and quit. Stephanie said that she's not changing her mind. Vince said that if she doesn't change her mind then at No Mercy, she's going to be in the ring with Vince and she's going to quit one way or another because it'll be an I Quit Match. He hates to do that but she's become a disrespectful little bitch. Brock Lesnar then nailed the Undertaker with the Championship belt and Stephanie slid out of the ring. The Undertaker eventually fought back and planted Brock Lesnar with a choke slam as Stephanie cheered him on.
