With the Survivor Series on the horizon, Extreme Championship Wrestling also needs to get ready for the December to Dismember pay per view, featuring the Extreme Elimination Chamber match. Who will be the final man to join Big Show, CM Punk, Test, Sabu, and Rob Van Dam in that match? What is next for CM Punk, Mike Knox, and Kelly? Will John Cena return the favor to the Big Show for his interference during last night’s episode of Raw?
We start off with footage from last week’s show and the main event with Bob Holly and Rob Van Dam facing Big Show and Paul Heyman. We go to Bob Holly turning on his tag team partner.
We are live on tape from Manchester, United Kingdom and your announcers are Elijah ‘Not Tazz’ Burke and Joey ‘Fish and Chips’ Styles. Joey mentions that Tazz underwent surgery and is not on this week’s show.
There is a desk in the ring and Big Show comes out with Paul Heyman. Paul introduces himself to the British crowd and he says that tonight there is a classic case of good news and bad news. The bad news is that due to the events of last week, Rob Van Dam will not be in the United Kingdom tonight. Paul says that this is for Mr. Van Dam’s personal well-being. The good news is that he has the honor and privilege of presenting to the fans the most dominant champion in ECW history, the largest athlete in the world, and the man who will lead his team at Survivor Series to victory against John Cena’s team. Paul addresses the December to Dismember pay per view and the Extreme Elimination Chamber. He reminds us of the five participants in the match; Sabu, Big Show, Rob Van Dam, Test, and CM Punk. Who will be the sixth man? Will it be someone from Raw or Smackdown or is it going to be someone from ECW. Paul says that it is time to find out who will become the sixth man in the Elimination Chamber match.
Bob Holly is walking in the back, but he is attacked by Bobby Lashley. Lashley sends Holly into a metal door before we cut to Heyman and Show in the ring. Lashley comes out and Show comes out after Lashley, but Lashley with a spear to Show and then Lashley enters the ring. Lashley grabs the contract and signs it to become the final member of the Extreme Elimination Chamber match. We go to commercial.
We are back with a Moments Ago Moment of Bobby Lashley’s debut on ECW television.
Big Show is in the back with Paul Heyman, Test, and Bob Holly. Show says that it makes no sense because Paul should have just put Holly in the Extreme Elimination Chamber match. Holly says that it was simple and easy. Heyman says that he wanted to make it look legitimate. Show says that they run the place. Heyman says that he does not understand how Lashley got into the match; and he is going to lawyer up. Paul says that since Bobby Lashley is here tonight and he wants to be a part of ECW, he will be in a match tonight. Bobby Lashley will face the man he ripped off and took out of the Extreme Elimination Chamber match, Bob Holly.
Match Number One: CM Punk versus Mike Knox (with Kelly)
Punk with kicks to Knox’s leg followed by a snap mare and kick to the back. Punk with a belly-to-back suplex for a two count. Knox with a kick to Punk and an Irish Whip. Knox goes outside the ring and Punk tries for a baseball slide, but Knox moves out of the way and Knox punches Punk. Knox yells at Kelly and Punk with a back kick that sends Knox into Kelly and Kelly goes down. Knox attacks Punk when Punk goes to check on Kelly. Knox sends Punk into the ring post. Knox with knees to Punk’s back and Knox gets a two count. Knox with a suplex for a two count. Knox tries to put Punk in a Boston Crab, but Punk blocks it. Knox catapults Punk into the turnbuckles and Knox with a forearm to the back followed by a drop kick for a two count. Knox punches Punk and he Irish whips Punk. Punk with a series of kicks and he tries for a suplex, but he cannot get Knox up. Knox with a back breaker for a two count. Knox goes for a Boston Crab but Punk is able to power his way to the ropes. Knox punches Punk in the corner and then he connects with a forearm to Punk’s back. Knox with a knee to Punk’s midsection and then he sets up for a suplex, but Punk with a knee to escape the hold. Punk with a kick and forearms. Knox misses a punch and Punk hits a jumping leg lariat. Punk with a clothesline to Knox. Punk charges into the corner, but Knox blocks it. Knox misses a clothesline on Punk and Punk responds with a springboard drop kick and Knox goes outside the ring. Punk with a suicide dive onto Knox on the floor. Punk hits a springboard clothesline but he can only get a two count. Punk with a series of knees followed by an Irish whip and a running knee into the corner and a bulldog for a two count. Punk with a forearm, but Knox responds with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker for a two count. Knox tries for a belly-to-back suplex but Punk lands on his feet and Punk with a series of kicks and slaps followed by a uranage and Anaconda Vice and Knox taps.
Winner: CM Punk
After the match, Kelly applauds Punk’s victory as they look at each other. We go to commercial.
We are back and Matt Striker has a history lesson for everyone. He talks about quotes that stand the test of time. He goes through a few quotes, including ‘Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness’ that comes from the period when the Americans vanquished the evil British Empire. Striker mentions those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it. Striker talks about the Elimination Chamber and how great men have emerged as shells of themselves. We see a video package about the history of the Elimination Chamber.
CM Punk is in the interview area and he welcomes Bobby Lashley to ECW. He says that the Extreme Elimination Chamber match will be one of the most dangerous matches ever, but he will be like a kid in a candy store. He loves competition and he will be in a match with five of the greatest competitors. Punk mentions that this is his first opportunity at the ECW title. He likes the fact that when the door is locked, it is every man for themselves. We go to commercial.
We are back with the Wrestlemania on-sale video package that aired on Raw.
Match Number Two: Daivari (with Great Khali) versus Tommy Dreamer
Dreamer enters the ring and he gets in Khali’s face while Daivari tries to sneak up on Dreamer and he clips Dreamer. Daivari punches Dreamer but Dreamer hits a fallaway slam on Daivari. Dreamer kicks Daivari in the corner, but Daivari with a thumb to the eye and a drop kick to the knee. Daivari works on Dreamer’s leg and then he puts Dreamer in a single leg crab, but Dreamer gets to the ropes. Daivari slams Dreamer’s leg into the apron but Dreamer sends Daivari into the ringside barrier. Daivari tries for a cross body from the top, but Dreamer moves out of the way. Dreamer punches Daivari but Daivari returns to the knee. Dreamer tosses Daivari to the mat and he gets ready to finish off Daivari, but Khali trips him and pulls Dreamer into the ring post. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Tommy Dreamer (by disqualification)
After the match, Khali comes into the ring and he picks up Dreamer and he picks up Dreamer for a slam from a vertical choke. We go to commercial.
We are back with an Earlier Tonight Moment of Bobby Lashley signing the contract to enter the Elimination Chamber match.
Paul Heyman has Big Show, Test, and his security detail at ringside for the main event.
We also have an earlier tonight moment of Bobby Lashley attacking Bob Holly while Bob walked back stage.
Match Number Three: Bobby Lashley versus Bob Holly
We join the match in progress and Lashley Irish whips Holly and he charges into the corner. Lashley with shoulders in the corner followed by another Irish whip. Lashley with a delayed vertical suplex. Lashley goes outside after Holly, but Holly sends Lashley onto the ring steps. Holly rolls Lashley back into the ring and he kicks Lashley. Lashley slams Holly, but he misses an elbow drop. Holly slams Lashley and he hits a leg drop and then puts Lashley in a rear chin lock. Lashley with a punch, but Holly responds with a clothesline. Holly with a kick and snap mare followed by a knee drop for a two count. Holly slams Lashley and then he goes up top but he comes off and hits Lashley’s boot and both men are down. Holly misses a clothesline and Lashley with a back elbow. Lashley with clotheslines to Holly and then Lashley gets Holly up in a torture rack and then he drops down for a back breaker, but Lashley can only get a two count. Lashley goes up top, but Holly hits the ropes and Lashley is crotched. Holly hits a superplex and Holly gets a two count. Holly goes up top but he is caught by Lashley and Lashley hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Lashley with a running clothesline followed by a running power slam, but Big Show pulls the referee out of the ring and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Bob Holly (by disqualification)
After the match, Test clotheslines Lashley and the security detail joins in. CM Punk and Sabu comes to the ring and they clothesline Test over the top rope to the floor and Sabu hits a somersault plancha onto Test. Rob Van Dam comes into the ring to join the fray. Van Dam hits the security detail as well as Holly with the chair and Lashley with a double spear to the security detail. Lashley and Van Dam are in the ring together. We go to credits.
