Long Island, New York
Report By: James Caldwell of PWTorch.com
ECW on Sci-Fi Opener:
We begin with a clip of Bobby Lashley grabbing the final spot in the Extreme Elimination Chamber at the December PPV. Lots of kids ringside during the opening crowd shot. Styles and Tazz talked about Team Xtreme reuniting and RVD vs. Holly II again.
In the arena:
Matt Striker was in the ring with a chalkboard for a lesson. He said that in a few minutes, he would conduct a wrestling lesson in the ring against Lashley. Striker said he extolled the horrors of the Chamber match last week, but in his benevolence, he would give the fans carnage and destruction by annihilating Lashley. He then asked who wants to learn. The fans booed. Striker said Lashley did a tour of duty in the military and he did a tour of duty in the New York City school system, which is far more dangerous. Lashley's music interrupted and he walked out for the match. Striker bailed, then Lashley chucked the chalkboard over the top rope to the floor. Striker wouldn't get in the ring, so Lashley picked up the desk and chucked over the top rope at Striker's feet. It exploded and one kid cackled with laughter. Striker then slipped into the ring to start the match.

Full Blooded Italians vs. The Hardy Boyz
The start:
Trinity was focused on getting cheers from the crowd before the match. The Hardys worked on Guido early on. The fans chanted "Hardy, Hardy" as they continued to exchange tags. Mamaluke tried to get involved, but the Hardys dropped him with a wheelbarrow flip-over slam. Trinity distracted Jeff, allowing Guido to take control. F.B.I. exchanged tags working on Jeff as the fans continued to chant for the Hardys. Hardy ducked a double clothesline and scored with a two-foot dropkick.
The Finish:
Matt took a hot tag and slammed F.B.I. He hit a top rope guillotine dropkick on Guido, and Mamaluke broke up the pin attempt. Hardy dropped Mamaluke with the Side effect, then he put him on Jeff's shoulders for a combination top rope powerbomb and neckbreaker. Jeff then flew off Matt's back for a leg lariat. Matt hit the Twist of Fate on Guido, then Jeff hit the Swanton Bomb and Matt made the cover for the win. The fans were screaming like crazy for this. The Hardys hugged after the match.
Winners - The Hardy Boyz
Backstage:
RVD was warming up backstage in his locker room. Paul Heyman walked in with security. He said he admires RVD for being willing to subject himself to the Chamber match all in the name of becoming ECW champion. Heyman said RVD is even willing to humiliate him to become champion. He said he could suspend RVD for showing up against his orders last week, but he wanted to make things interesting. Heyman said that if Holly beats RVD tonight, then Holly would take his spot in the Chamber. "Wow, I really like that," Heyman said. "That's a really good idea!" He walked away and RVD stared after him.

Kevin Thorn vs. CM Punk
The start:
There was a brief chant for Punk before the match started. Punk absorbed a few forearm blows early on, then landed a roundhouse kick to the gut. Thorn caught him in the corner and dropped him gut-first across the top rope. He landed a backbreaker for a nearfall.
The Finish:
Thorn applied a Boston Crab and Punk fought with himself whether to tap. Kelly Kelly then walked out to the ring and pounded the mat to encourage Punk, who then powered out of the hold when he spotted Kelly ringside. Punk then caught Thorn with an STO into the Anaconda Vice. Thorn tapped out.
Winner - CM Punk
The Aftermath:
After the match, Kelly clapped it up for Punk in the ring. Thorn and Ariel then jumped them from behind. Ariel and Kelly had a cat fight, then Punk saved Kelly from a two-on-one beating. Punk cleared Thorn to the outside with a high knee to the face. Kelly and Punk caught their breath in the ring. They slowly moved closer together without making eye contact. Kelly then raised Punk's arm in the air to signal the winner. They showed Mike Knox standing at the entrance ramp with a look of sadness. Kelly then went in close to Punk for a big hug. Punk held her in his arms as she sought comfort. Knox lowered his head in shame and embarrassment. Styles asked, "What could going through Knox's mind right now?" Tazz said another guy is with Knox's girl.
In the arena:
Big Show was in the ring with Heyman. He said he thought Heyman was crazy when he first heard about the Chamber match. Heyman smiled as he listened to Show describe the imminent destruction in the match. The fans did a "What?" chant as Show talked. He called them on it, saying they're five years behind the times. Show said his title is on the line in the Chamber against five challengers and he likes the odds because no one has presented a challenge yet. Show listed names of people who haven't been able to dethrone him. "No one can beat me," Show said. Lashley's music hit. He walked back out with a stern look on his face. Heyman told Show not to go after him. Show paused, then landed a hard right hand to the face. Lashley staged to his knees, then he ducked a title belt shot and landed right hand blows. He then picked up the belt and smashed it over Show's face, sending Show to the outside. Show threw a fit on the outside. Lashley threw the belt down at Show's feet. Show nearly killed several stagehands clearing the ring steps.
Backstage:
Test approached Hardcore Holly before he went through the curtain. Test gave him the big inspirational speech because he wanted Holly in the Chamber match so they could work together.

Rob Van Dam vs. Hardcore Holly
The start:
RVD took it to Holly in the opening minute. The fight spilled to the outside and RVD draped Holly across the guardrail. He landed a turnaround leg whip and then fell to the ground. They cut to a break. RVD teased a catapult into a chair in the corner out of the break, but Holly blocked the move. Holly waited for RVD to approach him in the corner, then he pulled RVD headfirst into the seat of the chair.
Mid-match notes:
Holly then slammed RVD onto the chair and made a cover for a nearfall. Holly then smashed RVD throat-first across the edge of the chair for a nearfall. The fans became restless as Holly went on the offensive. The catcalls continued until RVD caught Holly with a desperation blow to the face. He went under the ring and pulled out a second chair. Holly kicked the chair into RVD's face, though. He followed with a dropkick to knock RVD off the apron. Holly grabbed a leather belt from the timekeeper, then whipped RVD with it. They came to their feet and exchanged standing blows. RVD dropped Holly with a standing sidekick. He then caught Holly with a monkey flip out of the corner.
