ECW December To Dismember PPV Results

PreShow

Joey Styles hosted the 30 minute free for all pre-game show. They hyped the elimination chamber and MNM vs. the Hardy Boyz, but announced no new matches.

- PPV begins with a video highlight package for the elimination chamber.

- Pyro goes off, as Joey Styles welcomes us to the broadcast. The elimination chamber is shown above the squared circle.

- Styles and Tazz are ringside; as are the Spanish announcers.

MNM (with Melina) vs. The Hardy Boys

Styles said this could be the one and only time MNM wrestles together in an ECW ring. Jeff and Matt received a good pop, as the fans chanted "Hardys, Hardys." Fans are into the match early, even starting a "Nitro sucks" chant. Hardys did a nice double team 180 back suplex on Mercury. As Melina screamed, fans chanted "she's a crack whore." Melina grabbed Matt's leg, whom went after her until Matt ran into a Mercury clothesline on the floor. Tazz made a joke about his former broadcast partner Michael Cole not really liking women. Hmmm. Matt flipped over the top rope onto Mercury, which brought up an "ECW, ECW chant." It was followed up by Nitro, and finished off by Jeff Hardy jumping off the top rope onto the heels. Fans did a quick "holy sh*t" chant. As the match hits the 15:00 mark, fans seem less into the contest. Fans are still getting on Melina, however. Fans are still getting on Melina, however. Jeff hit a whisper in the wind onto Mercury and Ntiro, and made the hot tag to brother Matt. Two side effects by Matt, but Nitro kicked out. The Hardy's did superplexes from both sides of the ring. Nitro accidently drop kicked Melina as she argued with Melina. Snap shot by MNM, but Matt made the save! Senton bomb by Jeff on both MNM members, and Jeff pinned Nitro for the victory at 22:33.

Winners: Matt and Jeff Hardy

As Team Extreme celebrated, MNM attended to Melina who remained on her back on the arena floor.

- Styles and Tazz talked about the elimination chamber.

- Rob Vam Dam cut a promo about the risks of doing the elimination chamber in a pre-recorded interview.

Matt Stryker vs. Ball Mahoney

Before the match, Stryker grabbed the mic from ring announcer Justin Roberts cut a promo. He told the referee to enforce all the rules and encouraged the fans not to use foul language. He said Stryker rules include no eye gouging, no hair pulling, and no coming off the top rope.Fans chanted "Stryker sucks" as does this match. Stryker tried to force Mahoney to submit to an arm bar, but Balls made it to the bottom rope. Mahoney pinned Styker at 7:20.

Winner: Balls Mahoney

- They show CM Punk warming up backstage.
- Also backstage, Sabu is down on the floor as medics attended to him. Heyman comes in and asks what happened? Medics push Heyman out of the way. They put a neck brace around Sabu neck, as the fans chanted "bullsh*t."

Sylvester Terkay and Elijah Burke vs. FBI (with Trinity)

Terkey and Burke enter the ring first. Burke grabs the mic and states they will leave their mark tonight. Hmmm, ok. Fans briefly chant "where's my pizza." These prelim matches have zero heat as you'd expect. Burke pinned Mamaluke at 6:40. You could hear a "TNA" chant at this point. After the match, Terkay did a muscle buster on Guido after the match.

Winner: Sylvester Terkay and Elijah Burke

- Backstage, they show the medics put Sabu in the ambulance with RVD and Punk looking on. So, Sabu is out of the elimination chamber tonight.

- Daiviri and Khali made their way to the ring, followed by Tommy Dreamer.

Tommy Dreamer vs. Daiviri

Referee Mickie Hensen saw Khali interfere (pulling the top rope down as Dreamer fell from the ring), so he ejected him from ringside. Daiviri won the match at 7:23 with a handful of tights. After the match, Dreamer ran after Daiviri, but Khali caught him and drop him back first on the entrance ramp. Referees came out to attend to Dreamer who finally made his way back up to his feet. Guess all the medics in the building attended to Sabu.

Winner: Daiviri

Backstage, Heyman talks to Hardcore Holly. Heyman tells Holly he is going to replace Sabu in the elimination chamber match.

Mike Knox and Kelly Kelly made their way to the ring. Kelly grabbed the mic and wished CM Punk well in the elimination chamber.

Kevin Thorn & Ariel vs. Mike Knox & Kelly Kelly

The girls finally tagged in at the five minute mark, and Kelly received a decent pop. Kelly wanted to tag Knox back into the match, but Knox refuses and walked away. Fans chanted for Punk. Ariel pinned Kelly at 7:42. As Ariel continued to attack Kelly after the match, The Sandman made his way through the crowd and cracked open a cold one. Sandman canes Thorn, who quickly exits the ring. Sandman goes after Thorn and canes him some more and enjoys another cold beer!

Winners: Kevin Thorn and Ariel

- Michael Cole talked about the 12/17 Armageddon Smackdown PPV. Geez, is it only two weeks away? Cole ran down the announced match.

Backstage, Rebecca interviewed Bobby Lashley. He said he isn't phased about Holly replacing Sabu.

- Backstage, The Big Show is shown walking with Heyman, Test, and Holly.

- Tazz and Styles talked about the elimination chamber.

- Heyman came down to the ring escorted by his personal security.

Heyman looked at the chamber hanging over the ring, and said this is going to be our main event. Heyman talked about the extreme elimination chamber, and said Sabu wasn't going to wrestle tonight.

Extreme Elimination Chamber Match for the ECW Title: The Big Show vs. Test vs. Hardcore Holly vs. Rob Van Dam vs. CM Punk vs. Bobby Lashley

Big Show enters first, and is secured into his pod with the baseball bat wrapped with barbed wire. Punk enters next. He enters the pod with a chair. Test enters third, and his pod contains the crowbar. Lashley is in the last pod, his contains a table. The match will begin with Rob Van Dam against Hardcore Holly. The first pod opens at the five minute mark. The heels are playing up that they are working together as Heyman looks on in agreement. Next in is CM Punk and his steel chair. Its now Punk vs. RVD vs. Holly, as no one has been eliminated. Punk threw the chair at RVD, but RVD grabbed it and slammed it into Punk. RVD is the first to juice, as he's bleeding above his eye. After another five minute interval, another man will enter the match. Next man is Test with his crowbar. Test goes after RVD's open cut with the crowbar. RVD grabbed the chair and hit Test and Hardcore Holly, and then slams into Punk's face in the corner. RVD hits the five star frog splash, and pins him at 12:24. Test eliminates Hardcore Holly, and then jumps off Big Show's pod and lands on RVD with a chair on top of him, eliminating RVD at 14:00. Test remains alone in the ring, awaiting either Lashley or Big Show. Lashley is to come in next, but his pod will not open thanks to Heyman's personal security.

Lashley spears Test at 19:39, and pins him. Test is gone, so its down to Big Show vs. Lashley. Big Show's pod opens, and enters the ring with the barbed wire match. Lashley blocks his swings with the chair. Big Show's bat gets caught in the chamber. Lashley throws Big Show into a pod, busting the champ's head open. Lashley blocks a chokeslam attempt with a DDT. Lashley spears the Big Show at 23:42, winning the ECW title!
