ECW On Sci-Fi Results - 12/5/06
Charleston, South Carolina
Report By: Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com
ECW on Sci-Fi Opener:
We start off with a look back at Bobby Lashley winning the ECW Title at December to Dismember and the post match celebration. We go to comments from Paul Heyman recorded after the December to Dismember pay per view that were on ECW.com. He talks about the blood on his tie and how it is from the greatest ECW champion that ever lived. It is the blood of the greatest giant that has ever walked into a wrestling ring. It is the blood of the man that had loyalty to him and agreed to carry ECW on his back and turn it from a bingo hall promotion into a global phenomenon. It is the blood of a man who got ripped off. It took an Extreme Elimination Chamber and a 280 pound man with a weapon to beat the giant. This is the blood of his friend. On behalf of Extreme Championship Wrestling to inform everyone that the Big Show’s rematch clause will be invoked and it will not be in an Extreme Elimination Chamber or will there be weapons used. The ECW Title will be on the line as Bobby Lashley has to defend the title against the most dominant athlete in history. The seven foot tall, five hundred pound Big Show. It all happens on Tuesday night. Paul says that he is done and says thanks as he leaves.
